2016 TimetableThe 2016 Douglas Bay Horse Tramway season started on 30 April and ran through to 30 October. The service was operated by Isle of Man Railways, a division of the IoM Government - Department of Infrastructure. Click on the images below to view larger copies of the 2016 Timetable.
Please note services do not run on every weekday during the season.
Go Explore cards will be accepted for travel on all horse tram services in 2016. These offer great value for money, unlimited travel for 1, 3, 5 or 7 consecutive days on all Isle of Man bus and heritage railway services.
Single journey horse tram tickets will be priced £3 per adult and £2 per child, or £10 for a family of two adults and up to three children.
Day tickets will be available priced £6 per adult and £3 per child, or £15 for a family of two adults and up to three children.
Alternatively, residents and visitors can purchase a Go Horse Tram card valid for the whole season. These are now available from the Welcome Centre in the Sea Terminal (01624 662525) or from the Derby Castle MER Ticket Office, priced £30 per adult and £20 concessions (for children and resident senior citizens with a valid 60+ card).
Children are aged 5 to 15 inclusive. Under 5's travel free with a fare-paying adult.
