Isle of Man Transport has confirmed that 1905-built 'Toastrack' No.42 will be the next tramcar to be restored. It will likely be moved to Derby Castle Depot on the Manx Electric Railway in the near future.

No.42 was built by G.C. Milnes, Voss & Co. in Birkenhead. Originally delivered with a seating capacity of 32 passengers, this was increased to 40 passengers when the tramcar was lengthened in 1938. Our photo shows No.42 on its last use in service on 5th November 2017 as part of the end of season cavalcade.

Currently undergoing full restoration are 'Bulkhead' No.45 and Saloon No.27.
