Plans submitted to replace Strathallan Depot

posted 5 Apr 2018, 04:29 by Friends of DBHT
Plans have been submitted by the Department of Infrastructure for the demolition of the existing Strathallan Depot and the erection of a new horse tram depot, to include offices, ticket sales area, and public washrooms.

The plans would see the current depot replaced with a facade representative of the building's appearance circa 1902, well before the second floor of offices was added in 1935.

It has previously been reported that Strathallan Depot is in very poor condition as a result of which the front of the building remains fenced off.

The plans are now available to view on the Planning Department website.
